this is my first eletronic toothbrush so i cant really compare to the other brands.
It’s loud and the handle gets heavy after awhile.
i think someone mention this already, the whole things feels cheap. there are even glitters on the handle..not what i was looking for.
i had to open my mouth real wide so stop so my mouth and lips wouldnt get numb by the vibration.
i will continue to use it , for one, i dont feel like returning it, for another, it’s suppose to be good for my teeth ..right ?

I was supposed to get the DELUXE model but received the base model instead (no tongue freshener or pick). The toothbrush works fine, but I paid extra for the deluxe and I’d much rather get what I paid for. I’m almost done ordering from Amazon at this point–they are becoming VERY unreliable. PLEASE do not order this product from this site!!! If you really want it- and the product seems to be OK– order from another online site and GET WHAT YOU PAID FOR!!!! ****Read the reviews for this item, Amazon seems not to know the difference between item models for some reason.****
Ughhh….

I bought a 2 pack of Braun electric brushes for me and my wife. After using it for a month I returned it. I usually do not return any item, least a personal item. But within 3 weeks I noticed that my teeth were more sensitive to cold water, etc. I did not want to use or pay for something that actually ruined my teeth. Looks like these brushes erode the enamel. Once eroded the enamel does not build back. Though I used these brushed around 1 year back, my teeth are still sensitive ever since I used them. The 2nd brush was for my wife and she had exactly the same experience as me.
So I would advise you people out there. Keep it manual. More technology is not always good.

This will be my final purchase from Amazon. It was purchased from one of there sellers “Discount Jungle” “Buyer Beware!” They had asked for a review after a few days and as I had said then,”So far, it is better than I had expected” couple days later I had gotten a hold of them as it was not performing as it should. The manual said a charge should last 2 weeks and it had not even been 1! They left me a message to get a hold of Oral-B. I phoned Discount Jungle and told them there was no need for that. I know it was not performing as it should as I had read the manual. They agreed I could return it. I asked if they would send a postage paid label, they finally did but it was not enough postage. They had told me they were going to replace the toothbrush. I get a email that they are refunding me $20. less than what I pd. When I questioned it they said they said I failed to return the charger. I had no reason to keep their charger! They were soposed to replace it! They had to pay more postage and this is their was of getting even! I won’t be spending any more of my money with them. Hope it was worth it to them!

I just received what was supposed to be the Deluxe 8850 DLX Oral-B, but like another reviewer, received just the Professional Care 8850, which seems like the Deluxe version without the attachments (I hope that is the only difference). This apparently happened to other people too, so if the attachments are important to you, you may want to buy this elsewhere or risk several cycles of buy/return.
Having said that, the one I got looks pretty much like an updated version of my old Oral-B brush that I am replacing (battery finally died after around 7-8 years)–and I loved that one so much I was desperate to get this new one when it died!
